Augu B is the performing name of one of Sierra Leone's youngest and finest female singers Bakariatu Augusta Kabia who entered music studios at the age of four (4) and did "Feba prayday" which is a birthday song followed by "Me Yoni" a song dedicated to the land of her birth.

Augu's mother, Emma Sesay, is a trained and qualified teacher. Her father Abubakar Mohamed Kabia aka Humble Star Light is a teacher, radio journalist, songwriter and movie director. Thanks to his influence, Augu B heard and loved music at early age.


After recording two songs at the Cool D recording studio, Augu did her second song (Me Yoni) video with the Clean Lens Pictures at her six years of age. She released her first album on February 14, 2017 at Mile 91. However, her official album launching was done last year in December powered by SLBC and ASPA.

Augu B has been one of the leading artistes of both Radio Gbafth Mile 91 music top 5 and AMZA's Radio top 6 music programmes in Makeni. She has done a lot of shows in towns and villages within Sierra Leone. In Makeni and its environs, she is popularly known for her adorable jingle song for the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Cooperation (SLBC).


According to her mother, Augu B's talent was first noticed at the age of three in Waterloo where she imitates Vida and Chubby Asa's songs. "It all started at the age of three when she was moved by Chubby Asa's publicity in Waterloo. She asked me to allow her sing and dance with Chubby". Said her mother. She added that, "I ignored part of her request but took her from my back to allow her sing and dance alone". She concluded


At the age of four, Augu B comes up with the chorus of her first song and it was improved and edited by her father. That urges her father hence it has been his wish to have a child with such talent. Since then, Augu B has drawn the attention of the media in Sierra Leone. She has been interviewed and talked about on both the electronic and mass media including SLBC TVs and Radios, AYV TV and Radio, AI RADIO, Radio Gbafth, Mile 91, Radio Viasity and Vodpad in Waterloo, Northern Times newspaper, all radios in Makeni, and Sierra Leone at large.


Meanwhile, she has fifteen songs out. Whilst six videos have been released.

However, one of her fastest growing songs titled THOLon Pepeh x Internet Man (Okrrmor) video is on premiering. This song and video portrays the behavior of the African child towards cleanliness and also pictures a unique African setting. It's of high standard. Her Northern based promotional team headed by Mr Daniel Yusuf Tarawalie aka MR. DY of SLBC, Makeni is currently focused on a national face promotion of this song.
