The impact of social media.

Before this time, mainstream journalism has been successful not until the intervention of Social media.

Ever since the interception of Social media, the world has been a global village. People have been able to communicate to each other within a click.

I sought the views of one of the journalist who have been using Social media.

Mohamed Salieu Bangura is a journalist and Social media user told me about how Social media has impacted his live and journalistic work.

I have been able to use social media to share links of my stories and presentation to friends and wider audience. He said.

I asked him what life has been over the years without social media. He responded by saying

He was naΓ―ve when social media was not around. I have not been able to connect to other members in the community but with social media now I am very much excited to be part of this greater social media community. He added.

In the area of how has he been able to liaise with other social media users, he responded by saying With his presentations online and mainstream, he has been able to liaise with other social media users through creating groups and pages to engage with his friends.

What is he hoping to see in the long run of social media, weather to ban social media or upgrade it to more features?

I am hoping for a better ethical community where social media users will make money rather than bullying peers of social media. And also, I will like developers of these social media platforms to be adding more features for it to be more interactive and efficient. He ended.
